“My health journey…
I have been fighting weight my whole life. I used to just skip meals and run to try and lose weight.
I didn’t put a lot of thought into which nutrients I was actually needing or getting. I had times of feeling very tired in the afternoons which was probably from not eating enough of the right things. I am on a much better eating plan now. Now I am getting plenty of protein and taking the right vitamins and supplements for me!
I always had really fine and thin hair. Once I started eating right, that completely changed. My hair is much fuller and grows much more quickly!
I never really lifted weights or did strength training. I was mostly a runner. I had high cholesterol and my physician told me strength training was much better at keeping cholesterol down. Jacqui has really helped me with that! We work out once a week and I do another on my own during the week. Just went to the doctor and my cholesterol number has gone down!
Jacqui has made working out very fun and geared towards exactly what my body needs.
She has taught me to be more conscious of what I am eating and to plan ahead. If I know I am going to be going out to dinner and may make some not great choices, I do an extra work out earlier in the day. (Making sure that some is strength training, not just cardio)
I did hormone testing that jacqui suggested and found a few areas that I needed improvement in and started taking some supplements to help in these.
Overall I just feel better. I have more energy and look forward to the workouts!”
